problem and confusion..

hey guys new to the fourm... i have a 2001 GT 5 speed.. and everytime i'm driving it keeps making a weird noise... like something is rubbing... can't figure it out.. many people say its the throw out bearing or clutch/fly wheel.. someone please help..thanks again..

where does the rubbing sound like it's coming from? Does it driving straight, only turning? does it get louder when turning? it could be a wheel bearing going bad on ya and sometimes it can be interperted(sp?) as rubbing cause of a hollow growl. Should see if it does it turning left or right and if so what side and try to go from there for a wheel bearing.

no sound when i'm turning it sounds like its coming from the engine... once i hit around 45 mph i could start hearing it but after i let go of the gas... thanks again
