I know you all are going to laugh at me but.. I'm in the middle of my underdrive pulley install and ran into a snag.

I removed the 4 bolts from the water pump pulley, and took off the belt but the damn thing won't come off! Same with the crank pulley.

I spent the last half an hour trying to remove it with out breaking the water pump! I noticed a rusted knob sticking out of the middle of the pulley.. I WD-40ed the thing to hell.

Am I missing something here?

Dumb n00b needs help

If they are stock then you are gonna have to work with them patiently. Just lightly tap around the wp pulley with a hammer and then try to work it off. They are just rusted and pressed on for so long they are like fused toether.

Something like liquid wrench might work better cause I don't think WD 40 works as good to loosen things up.
