The shop I hang at sends the ac lines out all the time to repair or change the length, don't know actual costs but it is not expensive, most cases they reuse the ends.
That’s what I’m thinking, I know there’s an automotive shop in town that advertises they make hoses/lines hydraulic even maybe and I figured they’d use ends of original but wasn’t sure if they could cut them or what... this shop also is where I learned the lesson that just because you rent an alignment machine doesn’t mean you know how to do alignments
So I may be looking somewhere else, I wonder if places that do make hydraulic lines for tractors and such can make them
