my car wont run over at all when i use the key. if i jump the solinoid then it will turn over but no spark cause that little red wire is off the noid. i put the wire back on and i get nothing with the key. what could cause this?

A bunch of suspects here. I sounds like you have a problem in the ignition switch circuit.

Make sure the battery grounds are good a the chassis end, and to the body.

Check the start wire to the relay with a test light or meter. If you get 12 v, then suspect the relay.

If you don't get power there, I would look at the ignition switch adjustment on the column, and the neutral safety switch, and, or clutch switches. Beyond that, it may be a wiring problem.

You wont have spark while jumping the solenoid unless you leave your ignition key in the 'run' position.

Agreed about lookin at the CSS or ignition switch itself (the crank wire is white/pink at the switch IIRC).

Good luck.
