Problem with my VVME HIDs...

Hey guys, I've had the kit (6000K) for about a month and noticed a problem upon installation. Everything went well, but my bulbs are different colored. The passenger side looks normal (white/blue), while the driver's side is more of a white/yellow color. You can really tell the difference, and it's kind of embarrassing. When I first turn them on and they're warming up, they'll be the exact same color, but the driver's side bulb will keep warming up until it turns yellowish instead of staying whiteish-blue like the other light. Would just replacing the bulb fix this? Could it be a result of me accidentally touching the bulb upon installation? I hope it's not an issue with the ballast either... I've tried to research this problem all over the net but I haven't found anything, so I decided to ask you guys. Plus, I know a VVME fanboy posts here, so maybe he can help me out. Thanks in advance.

It's not accidentally touching the bulb. The oils/grease on the fingers tend to reduce the life of the bulb, shattering much easier... if you can see the messy fingerprint, a simple q-tip/rubbing alcohol job would fix it up in no time. Just lightly touching it or accidentally touching it shouldn't be a problem. The ballast gives the 23000 volt charge necessary to keep the gas inside the bulbs going, so from what you said, that's not the case either.

I'm thinking they slapped your package together with mismatched bulbs.

3000k is pretty yellow, 4500 is slightly off white, and 6000k is white with a slight hint of blue.
