ok, i know it's not a mustang, But it's close :D Very Happy well any way it kind'a idles funny but not really noticable. it's when you put it in gear and drive between 1500-3000 rpm's the enginge shakes real bad and when it goes into OD and you push the gas alittle it will shutter really bad also. i have done a full tuneup and it still does it it is in perfect tune. oh when in OD and you gun it and slam the trans in 2nd it performs like a raped ape. it's just at low rpm range. could it be a blown head gasket between 2 cylinders, a fuel injector, WTF is it. it's driving me nuts i know this car should almost be as fast as my mustang but it's as fast as a honda PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and 1 more thing the car doesn't have trac-loc and WILL NOT burn a tire. maybe that will help too. cause i know this car should burn the right back tire right off the rim :D

Dump the codes and see what the computer says is wrong…

Here's the link to dump the computer codes with only a jumper wire or paper clip and the check engine light, or test light or voltmeter. I’ve used it for years, and it works great.

See http://www.troublecodes.net/Ford/
OR
See http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html for more descriptive help
OR
See http://www.mustangworks.com/articles/electronics/eec-iv_codes.html

IF your car is an 88 stang, you'll have to use the test lamp or voltmeter method. There is no functional check engine light on the 88's except possibly the Cali Mass Air cars.

It is the H.O. but it's got it's own little firing order and it is in perfect time. unless the books wrong. if anybody knows the true firing order then what the book says i'm all ears cause that what it seems to me it being. but i had advance autoparts, Central, And Autozone look it up and the firing order i have it in is right (i think). the weird thing is when i look at the engine it's not you typical "mustang" intake the inlet curves and theres the trottle body and no EGR. the EGR is off to the side. kind'a like the 93 cobra. oh this this is a 93 t-bird also

my v6 SC shuttered real bad before I pulled it to. Problems with it was 1 blown head gaskets, 2, 2 cracked heads, 3, broken motor mounts, 4, a power steering line had a hairline crack (doubt that would do it). Maybe this will help you some.

The blown headgasket is one of the things i was think too. like between 2 cylinders or something. i guess i will do a compression check on it. and if thats not it i am lighting the bitch on fire
