So I'm driving home yesterday and was waiting at a light. I went to go and 'fumbled' the shift a bit and almost stalled. I got it into first, but it wouldn't go into second. Fourth and reverse were no good, either. Then thrid was out, and eventually fifth. I was around the corner from my house and right by my mechanic, who suggested I pop the shifter out and take a look. I found that the shifter was being blocked by the 'stopper' bolt in my triax shifter. I adjusted it back and was able to get the car back into gear and even drove it to work today with no problems. The reason why I'm troubled is that I have no idea how that bolt came so loose or is there is something else going on and the adjustment I made is just a bandaid. Anyone?
