Problems after plenum throttle body! help!

I installed a trickflow plenum and frpp 70mm throttle body on my car the other day. After the initial instalation i took it for a ride and had a problem with the engine racing when pushing in the clutch at stop light s and when shifting. I didsonnected the battery and reconected it let it idle and then it was fine for a few days. Yesturday i was coming home from work and it was hot so i put the ac on. It was now doing the same thing! but only if the ac was on! I got home disconected the battery again. And now the engine is racing when shifting and when coming to a stop, what gives. I do n't know where to look. Oh by the way. The idle does come down after about 5 sec or so when i stop?! :bang:

I just had the same problem with the same equipment. What I found out was the gasket between the throttle body and the TF Plenum was not sealing. What I mean is that if you look at the back of the throttle body you will see a little cut out on the left side. If the gasket isn't sealing up around this area you will get the racing effect of the engine. When you install the throttle body look and see if the gasket is covering up this cut out area. Once I put on a different gasket I have not had any more problems.

Check the TB gasket, check all the vacuum lines, and check that the TB is closing...I had a similar problem on my old car, turns out it was the gasket between the TB and the TB was sticking as well.
