I bought a 100 amp Tuff Stuff alterternator. We connected it as instructions suggested.

Car started and ran nice on idle. When I was driving the car suddenly stopped serveral times, as engine just died. It started nomally after stop, but engine died sever times + hesitatded at times too.

I have a MSD blaster coil, Mallory distributor with extra "circuit guard".

We pulled and wiggled all leads in order to provoke the situation, but it only occurs while driving.

What is going on?

Try a wiggle test with the key in the ignition switch. If the key is sloppy, that sounds more like your problem to me than anything to do with the new alternator.

What is different though, when the car is moving, VS sitting while you wiggle the wiring around? Maybe the motor move a bit in it's mounts, or there may be some more heat somewhere on a wire.
I understand what you are saying about the immediate change, but could it be coincidental? Can't hurt to check the switch real quick anyway..

Thanks. I agree tah "no stone unturned", but I am starting to suspect this unit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MAA-29371/
Maybe the new strong alternator is fooling it to breaqk the circuit?

what voltage output are you getting with the engine running? at what rpm does the engine cut out when driving? does it cut out when driving normally, or just when you romp on the pedal?

Well, wiggling the ignition/key does not provoke the problem. Just wonder if the coil has gone bad?

The car just stops all of a sudden, and sometimes it hesitates, like coughing.

well and ignition coil is cheap and easy to replace, start there and see what happens.
