has anyone ever had this problem......
my clock goes on and off at random intervals. the rest of my electrical system seems fine, volts ect. the clock isn't keeping accurate time either. i've tried various things to see if i could get it to turn on or off and nothing in particular seems to affect it. any ideas  ? thanks.

The clock itself is fried....Common problem at this age...Mine went 2+ years ago. Ford wants like $60 to replace. I just use my clock on the Radio.

RC

it's good to know it's the clock and not a more serious electrical problem. i will probably get it fixed since i might be selling the stang next spring. :(

thanks guys.

You can go outside and pullyours right up out of the dash, it's held on with a small clip. The clock is a small lcd box that screws off with two screws. Takes about 10 minutes max to change out the clock. I'll just send you the whole thing so all you have to do is plug it right in and snap it down into the dash. :nice: Just let me know.
do you now have gauges where yours was? got any pics?
