Have you reset the ECC? Also check for leaks?

I put that on along with an intake spacer at the same time but reset the computer before turning the car on.

Does it constantly do that?
When I come to a stop, my car will drop to 600 then rise up to 700-800. When I'm idling it'll do it sometimes too.

I don't know if it's the MAF or not.

Mine did that too. Took it off and sold it and bought an 80mm LMAF.

If you have the C&L with the 9" conical, take the filter off PUT THE SCREEN IN the filter(should have a nice lip where if fits nicely) disconnect battery for 20 minutes. This should help you out. If it continues I would look at your idle air control sensor.

i had the same problem with the "funny" idle. all it was for me was a loose connection in the CAI and once that was tightened up then everything was fine. Just make sure all your connections are secured.

Sounds like you have a leak in the air intake system. Mine did the same thing, when it would comeun down around the tb or if the air filter came undone.

TacBear - Is the C&L MAF new? The reason I ask is that when I got mine for my 2000GT (@ 2 yrs ago), there were some fitment issues with the Mafs and the electronics. Later Mafs corrected the problem. It seemed that the earlier Mafs caused a slight leak unless filed down slightly (to allow electronic sit correctly on top of the Maf). Mine was ok.

BTW, I went with your setup of a ported Dragon and 70mm FMS tb.

I had this exact same problem! I checked forever for leaks and even took everything apart and reinstalled I finally called C&L and they told me to check my maf sensor. When I plugged it in I had it rotated at a 9 o' clock position. It needs to be at 12 but may be adjusted slighted if needed. On numerous occassions my car even died at idle. I kept on the gas slightly at lights so as not to look like I was driving a hoopty. Car ran perfect afterwards

Mine has always fluctuated from around 650rpm-800rpm at idle

Ive had two new IAC's put in, for other reasons, but that didnt help my situatin so Im guessing its Mass Air Meter related. Mine has done it with both the screen in and out so
