Hi,

I did a quick mock-up of the tranny, crossmember, and prochamber to test for fitment and to determine where to exactly have bungs welded in for my wideband (on the X marks).

Does this accurately represent where the prochamber sits in relationship to the tranny and crossmember? I just layed the crossmember on the prochamber, pushed it back (towards the rear of the car) as far as it would go while having the pipes still in the 'notches' of the crossmember, and then sat the trans on top of it. This would give the most ground clearance possible for the prochamber. I'm sure it hangs down a bit, though.

The hanger brackets on the prochamber sit about 1.5" rearward of the hanger brackets on the trans mount. Is this how it is? Do the prochamber hangers hang directly below the crossmember hangers?

If I were to position the crossmember so it's hangers were directly above the prochamber's hangers, then the pipes wouldn't fit into the notches of the crossmember well, and would require that the prochamber hangs lower than the way I positioned it.

How does it actually fit on the car?

Rick

Also, and is there sufficient room to stand the WB oxygen sensor straight up in the 2 places marked with the X? This is my real reason for posting this thread.

Not sure how long your wide band sensor is but I dont think it will have the room to stand strait up... also doesnt the sensor need to be mounted as close to the motor as possible for an accurate reading?

Maybe not straight up, but angled towards the tranny on both side looks ok..??

Another great pic, Andy! So maybe about 45° from vertical, leaned over towards the tranny on both sides? That's about what the pass side stock O2 looks like to me, based on that pic. Maybe they could go up a bit more, like 30° from vertical?

How about the crossmember fit?

Bad- Wideband O2's have to be placed at least 24" from the engine. They are self heating, and too much heat will destroy them.

What kind of beating are you talking about? Rust?

Here's a few more...i think you have it pretty much where it goes...sweep in the pipe towards the front of the c/member...your set-up looks there...

This one one can see the tail of the tranny like your pic....
