I ordered the mac catted h pipe this week but they sent me the catted prochamber instead. I have the slp lm1. I want my car louder, will the prochamber make the car any louder or should i send it back for the catted h. I also want to pass my emisions so i am going to keep the cats.

i'd go with the prochamber, honestly.. it has a good sound and isnt TOO loud.. the LMI's are gonna be pretty loud with an aftermarket catted midpipe still..

is it going to be louder at all with the prochamber? i want my exhaust louder than it is now. i heard it will make it quieter then the stock h pipe.

Catted Prochamber is a little louder than stock pipe, but a little more quiet than the catted H pipe. You should swap the catted legs for offroad legs if you want louder.

the chamber basically just acts as a small 3rd muffler/resonator. i'm goin the offroad route, and i was stuck between an H and the PC and i realized the PC was just too quiet for my taste.

well i had a hard time with the mac ppl and they said they wont have my hpipe for a few weeks so i am getting a refund and im getting a slp x pipe for only 30 dollars more . i will never buy a mac product ever again.

I have an off road prochamber on two mustangs and think it sounds great on both cars. I have long tubes and magnaflow side exhaust on a 96 GT, and just the PC and a JBA cat back on a 99 cobra. Both cars get complimented all the time on the sound of both. The PC makes more power than the H-pipe and isnt that whats really cool? Try to ditch the cats if you can though, they'll make more a difference than anything.

You cant go wrong with the SLP X-Pipe.. Great quality, great sound, and you can always take the cats out and replace them with the race pipes

tell me what u think of my exhaust... it's bbk longtubes, bbk off-road h-pipe and 2-chamber flowmasters...doesnt get much louder than that
