I think i haved decided on a o/r prochamber for the new ride. i have heard of people geting these for around $140, however the least i have seen them for is $429!. why the hell would it cost $300 more for a 05 vs. an 04? anyone know where i can get one cheap?

please keep shopping related questions in talk, as there is no tech when shopping. :)

as far as the price, since it is a new model, all companies charge more. everything for the S197 is more expensive right now, but given time, prices will come down. the companies need to get back all the money they spent in R&D. sorry, i dont know where to buy one.

sorry about that man. ill keep looking.

I'm very much considering the Mac off road prochamber along with the FRPP GTA axle backs but I'm not quite sure if a chambered/baffled designed axle back such as the GTA's would be suitable or not ? from my understanding of the Prochamber it's supposed to be considered as an efficient designed H-pipe and if it is ? I'm hoping it may provide that deeper and just a bit louder than stock tone I'm looking for without drone or would I be better off pairing them with an off road X-pipe instead ? However on the other hand aren't off road X-pipes best suited for non-chambered designed axle backs such as the Borla/FRPP Stingers

I don't if this will help much ? but one of the reasons why the off road prochamber is more expensive for the 05-07 is because there made from 100% stainless steel where on the other hand, the ones for the 03-04 were made from aluminized steel
