ok lets not forget:
Engine
302 stroker (3.75" forged crank, Eagle H Beam rods, CP 21cc pis)
Moroso 8 qt oil pan
billet oil pump gears
fed mogul tri metal rod/main bearings
CP rings
ARP bolts everywhere
Stage 3+ heads (manley valves, comp springs)
Custom ground Comp cams
Ported bullitt intake
CPR fuel rails
Accufab TB

Power Adder
Vortech T Trim
Paxton A/A Intercooler
Vortech Mini Race bypass
AFM Powerpipe
RR 2.9" pulley

I'm sure it's a nice kit but when you have a 5.0 stroker, ported bullit intake, stage 3 heads with blower cams and some nice boost, any system will make big power. Can you get the dimensions/specs on the Paxton AA intercooler? I'm interested to see how it compares to the ProCharger one.

I ran a procharger for 6k miles and then ran the novi intercooler (that's my car above) with a T Trim. So having had my eyes on both of them I can say the paxton intercooler is larger. Large enough to make a difference? Probably not, but it is larger.

I can assure you that a P1SC wouldn't touch a Novi with that engine combo, btw. No way. D1SC? Maybe so.

I have no blind brand loyalty to any supercharger manufacturer as I've owned a procharger, vortechs, and a KB but after the procharger I had took a dump and did this to the underside of my hood I won't buy another.

Wow how did that happen to the hood? That is really unfortunate.. like what you did with the new setup though.

I'm looking forward to getting my car back by the weekend so I'll have some dyno numbers with the P-1SC. Wether the numbers are good or bad I'll still post them, I just want to see what the P-1SC can flow. I just cant believe that there is such a big difference between the P-1SC and the D-1SC. Maybe a D-1SC blower upgrade will be in store? I'll find out soon enough.

The blower blew a seal and some of the oil got on the hood and cooked the paint right off of it. Don't get me wrong, the P1SC I had made great power for the first couple thousand miles and then I started having problems but it's hit or miss. They're not all bad but I've only heard of one guy having a problem with a D1SC so that's why I suggest that people pay the extra $300 up front and get it instead of having to pay $1k down the road to upgrade a P1. Many people have P1s and never have a problem and hopefully yours will do a great job for your car as well.

I know of a couple people making close to 500 rwhp with P1SC blowers so they can definately do the job when they're on. But........that blower is not even in the same class as a Novi.

your depressing me.. lol any luck with a D-1SC setup? what causes such a drastic difference in power; what makes the blowers so different that causes that huge power difference? im about to call procharger and put in an order for the D-1SC.. hell might as well step up to the F1. Any thoughts?

I'm sure vortech's and paxton's fail, but I can't remember any personal failure stories.

Prochargers on the other hand, I've read at least 10+ just on stangnet that have had seal problems.

My vote would still be procharger(D1sc) because you get more for your money then the Novi.
