I just installed a shift light in my 2000 GT and it's not working right.

http://store.summitracing.com/partd...art=pro-67005sc

It's just like the one in the link. I got it all hooked up but when I start the car it pauses for a second then starts blinking. It will keep blinking for as long as the car is idling but whe I rev the engine the light will shut off. It's almost like it's backwards.

Anybody know what could cause this???

This is what I used to install it because it didn't come with any directions. I just noticed that they were using an 02 GT, not sure if that makes a difference. I guess so...

I spliced all the wires, I was going to go back and solder all the connections to make sure they are all good.

Sounds like a wire out of place somewhere. Go back over each connection. Maybe even disconnect everything and start over.

Well, I already made sure that all the wires were in the right places. Could it be a bad connection? I thought about soldering all the connections to see if that would help...
