Yes I amNicky, when you swapped tfi, are you using the "grease" when installing it? Thats odd it started then quit
The tfi was sitting in my parts bin for some time and the grease was kind of dry,I'm gonna try and get some today and retry it.Probably fine....just thought it was odd yours started then quit after install

Glad to hear it.That stuff you got is better than the white thermal grease you get from parts stores. It won't dry and cake like the white stuff.
That stuff you got is made by Corsair (as is 1/3 of my computer system). They know a thing or two about heat-sinks too.
Looked them over spread the bullets. Sprayed them with electrical connector cleanerWhat about Salt and Pepper shakers?????
It was a full dance card day.Primary doc @10, root canal @3 , then get the stang running. As far as grease,
that looks like the better one but not available local today,so I went with TM30 performance thermal paste from staples.
I cleaned the tfi and dist. Greased tfi up and she started right up,warmed till fan came on about ten minutes, And took it out ,she's fine.
Thanks to 89Ripper, he was 100%.
I give thanks to the big guy every night, and I do believe he put that post up for me, I was ting bricks cause I need my stang to get to work.
I'm gonna thank God for Stangnet, and its members, You guys rule!!!!!!!
