Hello, i had some 4.10s put on two weeks ago and the speedometer is really starting to get on my nerves. Im going to order a tuner for my car to fix this problem and maybe switch to the 91 octane until the gas prices get unbearable. So, what i want to know is which programmer to get. I know diablo and superchips both make a tuner. And im sure there are others. For those of you who have tuners, how do you feel about the brand you have.

What do you guys think i should get, and where is the most reliable place to purchase one?

Thoughts anyone?

My brother has the hypertech power programmer. I used it to program his car and it's pretty easy to use and works pretty good as well. I've heard good things about the SCT system but I'm yet to hear any results with the Diabalo unit.

Turbo92PGT - what you want is a code scanner, not a programmer. The hypertech programmer, SCT programmer, and other units are used to download programs into your cars ECU, not pull codes. If you wish to have the ability to pull codes, you need a "scanner" that will display the codes in the computer. You can buy some basic ones for around 100 dollars. Go to your local autozone and ask them about purchasing one. They should be able to tell you more.

I have the superchips microtuner. Nothing bad i can say about it. IT fixed my speedo. Has many other options also. Two settings , an 89 octane and a 93oct. nto sure about the power gain but i'm sure there is some. And you can put it back to completly stock if you want. And the best thing of all is it takes about five minutes litterally. I also believe you can read trouble codes.
