:bang:  :bang:  :bang:

I can't believe this I am finally setlling down after moving and recovering from my motorcycle acc. So I am putting the car together after about 1 yr of engine building and part buying and plan changing. Well its back to work.....So I changed out my K-member with a Griggs peice and I pick up the severe duty A-Arm( really nice and fully adj.) well I also go with Coil Overs. Well I also go with 4 bolt Maximum Motorsport CC plates..I also throw in a Flaming River manual Rack. And for good measure I throw in some SSBC 13" 4 piston Brakes... Sounds good so far....well:nono:

Here comes the train wreck...the K-Member and Arms have so many possible adj it makes me dizzy:scratch: well I think that might be ok so I get to the shocks and coil overs and my tokico HP need the top part call the dust cap to be removed what a pain in the well you know. The 4 bolt CC plate well they are really cool and needed with Coils...anyways I get all that put together and I get a leaking shock:damnit: You gotta be kindding Oh we aint done yet:nono: The Manual rack touches the right side sway bar link....now I need about about a half inch spacer on the K-mem mounts to push the
rack foward.:( Possible problem with that is that my Canton Pan might need that clearance but I hope not:doh: Oh and of course the Brake Calipers Hit the Rims....

????

Due to the Alignment up front could that cause the Strut to leak at the seal?
How easy should that strut bolt up and should it be straight up and down or foward about 10 degrees?

Since I need a New Strut which Strut should I look at...Illumina 5 way or Koni 2 way?

?????

Moving the Rack foward about 1/2 inch be a prob?:bang:

?????

How far can I space out the front wheels without race studs safely? I think about 1/4 inch might do it...:(

And during the Course of all my adventures I think I might have misplace some bolts like for example the nuts the hold the motor mounts to the Kmember...:bang: what a mess funny thing is when I took it apart I tried to put everything in labeled bags but I think in moving the car and all the stuff around I misplaced a couple bags....:stupid:

Also any of these problem sound familiar to anybody:shrug:

I think yu hit the nail on the head there yobi. Going BACK after downtime is the hardest part. I had to sell my old engine b4 buying the new one and it takes time to build a new engine. So my car was sitting apart for 2 months. THAT was a long time to me considering I knew the further I got away, the harder it would be to put back together and lets face it , over a period of time, things get moved and we forget.

I took LOTS of pictures of the old engine coming apart in the car though and the other thing I learned is never never never make too many changes at once. It can cause serious headaches. You WILL get it all going, dont worry! But it just may take you a little more time and some added research. :)

Finally sitting between the fenders. But the pan touches the new manual rack so I will be pick up some offset bushings from Steeda.

What a B%@&h to get the motor and tranny in together. We almost droped it twice:bang:

Cant wait till this is all done I really hope its worth it.

1/4 in. spacers are ok with the stock studs according to MM. I'm running some of there 1/8" spacers to help clear my brake cooling ducts and they have seen one track day so far. No problems with them at all. If you do get spacers, dont cheap out. Get hubcentric ones like the ones that MM sells, there more expensive than universal ones but there the only right way to do it.

at least with steeda the next day you have a box at your door!

What size are your front rims?

Steeda is about 5 min away. I just have to wait till they open:p
