Lots of folks tape off the car... fookit. I pull the headlight assemblies.

Thanks guys! I haven't had a day just to mess around in the garage in quite a while, so it felt pretty good just to relax, hang out in here, and get this done!

Those days are the best albeit usually far and few between. Those taillights look amazing. You did a great job. Send pics once they are on the car.

Seals came from LMR today, so I didn’t waste any time getting them glued on and installed!
Here’s a before and after from similar angles. Subtle change, but I like it!

Nice job! Enlarging the photos makes it easier to see the difference. It looks so much better in my opinion! It was worth the time in hunting the parts down and doing the install. Looks great!!!

Thank you! I’m pretty happy with how they came out!
And yeah, that does show the difference a lot more! Good job!

Nice @Rdub6, I went with the same light when I redid the paint and body. I needed some color back there, the orange turn signals did the trick for me.

Your car was one of the ones that made me say……. “I gotta get those lights”. Always loved how they looked on your car when you did your paint job!

Well, nothing at all been going on with the Mustang since the taillights. But my 4x4 dash switch failed in my ‘02 F150, so that’s up on the to do list (already got the switch from Rock Auto),

And we decided to trade in the better half’s Cherokee and I have made my first venture into brand X with a brand new Trailblazer. Hopefully this works out, cause she really likes it…… wish me luck!

……. And the Mustang still sits comfortably under the cover.

Well, got the car out for a nice run this past Wednesday. Ran real good. Every time I drive it I say “I gotta do this more”……. Anyway …….. hopefully on to a spring/summer of good use of it! And hopefully spark some new mods for it as well. Gotta do something to it.

And a pic of the ole Chevy (is that a bad word here?) that the wife is now tooling around! Not gonna lie…… it’s a nice little ride.

ok guys, I prob have a similar story to many of you. Had an 86 GT back in the early 90’s. Fast forward 20 something years, and I now have an 86 LX 5.0. It was fitted with the 87 and up front clip and I’ve just realized that it has 90-93 rear inner hatch panels that have round shock access covers.
The tabs are broken, and I can not find replacements anywhere. All I see are the rectangle covers. Please help!
Thanks in advance and look forward to becoming part of the community!!

……. And one of these I have to go through and clean up this thread. Probably a lot of posts that can be deleted. Can’t believe you looked through the whole thing!

So, nothing new with the car, but I got out to a show that was real close to home to walk around for an hour or two. Couldn’t spend all day, so didn’t put the car in……. But it definitely got the juices flowing again! Today may have been what I needed to get going on this car again!

This was the show…… great cause, and a ton of nice cars! Lots of military and police groups out to support them as well….. nice to see!

Not Mustang related, but I figure this is the thread most of you regulars follow.

So, after 23 years, I finally had to let my ‘02 F150 go, and welcome in a new 5.0 F150. Super super excited, but want to throw up at having a car payment again. lol

I hated to sell it, but I just don’t have the space to keep it/work on it. Would have loved for it to be my next project but the Mustang and the wife’s car have the garage on lifetime lease! lol

Anyway…. Here’s the ‘02 going away.

And here’s the new replacement!
