I happened upon a complete running 94 Mustang GT a few weeks back. So I bought it to do my 5 lug swap then part out the rest.
It's a real show stopper.
My original plan was to just swap the whole rear end out of the 94, since it had a slightly better 3.08 gear ratio. But as you will see, once I pulled it, someone managed to bend the entire housing. Musta been re-enacting some Dukes Of Hazard?
So I had to swap everything onto my fox 8.8.
Car had brand new rear calipers and pads laying in the back seat.
The front is done as well, just waiting on an adapter for the passenger side brake line to work.
Last night I got the booster and master cylinder in, surprisingly, I didn't even have to touch my strut tower. Just notched the holes some with a dremel.
Still not sure how I'm going to get the 94 out of the shop.
Just a mock up with the cobra r's that came on the 94. I'm thinking some lowering will be in need once the everything is done.
All that's left is to order my 3-2 port conversion, and a proportioning valve.
It's a real show stopper.
