I get Saturday from 2:00pm til ??? when ever to work on it, and I get all day Sunday. I hope to knock out that list of stuff I still have to do I listed above. MY Dad is gonna help me bleed the brake system, I mean it is empty as empty can be right now. I also hope to get the bumper repaired tomorrow and maybe painted late in the day on Sunday before I go home.

Boy 'o boy!! I just got into work. I skated in at about 9ish. I went out to Lansing last night to visit my girlfriend. We went out to dinner and then met up with her old roommates from last year. They are party girls, but they are the nicest group of girls as well. Man, I have a fuzzy feeling in the head this morning. (Hoegarden and Budweiser) Got to bed at 2am and left there at 7am to drive about 100 miles here to work. I just ate, so I feel better, but WOW, college towns are CRAZY!!! Lines down the street at every single bar!!!

I need to open a bar down there, cover at every bar and even though people complain about it, they pay it, it doesn't matter. Two bucks, five bucks, whatever, there are people in there they want to be around.

Don't worry guys, work will get done today!!! Nothing can stop me now!

Chrome Bullit PICS on HACK JOB!!!!!

This is Hack Job in it's final stage. The car is getting window tint tomorrow and a front end alignment, but it is 99% finished.

17X8 +30mm offset chrome bullits on Goodyear Eagle ZR45 245-45-R17

17X9 +45mm offset chrome bullits on Goodyear Eagle F1's 285-40-R17

I'll post more tomorrow when the windows are tinted out and the sun is shining. I will put them in this thread soe come back in.....

Finally!!!!!!!

I haven't seen it with the front end finished. Looks fantastic!!! You've done a hell of a job with that car.

Excellent choice on the wheels.

EDIT: Can't wait to see it with tinted windows.

Thanks boys! I really appreciate it. You have all been great to talk to and I will whore the crap out of it when it's 100% detailed.

I put about 75 miles on it Saturday, and then today about 10 miles in the rain. I had to drive it to work today since I left my truck at work. The wipers quit working, and I freaked out. I fixed it though, the little clip that holds the wiper arm onto the motor came off. Luckly it was only that.

It drives great. The new clutch is very grabby when I hammer it, and very smooth while driving like a normal human being. It handles WAY better than my 91 notch. It was worth all the new bushings, ball joints, tie rods, etc....plus I have the 2001 rack & pinion with the 2001 steering shaft, and firewall bearing, so that is also a big help. The car has more turning radius too. I can pull U-turns and turn around much faster. It rides nice, and surprisingly the interior has no squeaks and rattles like my 91 has.

Engine bay pics coming soon, it's filthy right now. I am gonna detail it after the smell of the fresh paint I put on it burns off.

A couple more odds and ends and it is 100%. I have about 3 interior peices left to modify and install, and give it a final detail under the hood, interior and exterior. But for the most part, it is clean and presentable.

As I said before, I will create large before and after thread specifically for Hack Job, but here's a teaser......
