What are some good options for tire size i have a 96 gt replacing rims and tires new.

Is 265/50/18 to wide?

IMHO I Think 275/40/17 is perfect on all 4 corners of the sn95's. Handle well and look aggressive.

I agree with undercovergt, on my buddies 96 gt we found 03-04 cobra rims in the junkyard and left the 275-40-17 nitto tires on it, it looks amazing. The front wheels are flush and the rear wheels and tires are tucked nice with the rear quarter panels.
