Just came home from helping Jonathan. Tonight we were interrupted several times by visitors so we didnt accomplish as much as planned.

While Jonathan was welding, I tore into the engine. We were told the engine had been rebuilt. It has stock forged pistons, the bottom end has been rebuilt. The rods appear to have been reconditioned and Everything looks fresh. I pulled a main cap and the bearing still looks new. We are going to replace the oil pump and timing chain. Put the F cam back in and regasket it. If the plans do not change we will put on his ported gt40 heads.

Thanks! I've always liked an all black fox. So thats what im gonna go with.Maybe do some ghosted stripes. Wide stripes.

The project is coming along real nice!!! I would love to have a smoothed out engine bay.. I need a damn welder, they are like a "must have" for a car guy but are so damn expensive

i know every time im about to buy a welder i spend it on other parts and think damnit i need a welder

Ha. I know the feeling. It sucked having to call Shawn (50droptop) all the time to borrow his welder.He always let me though. Im just glad i have my own now.

Yeah and I sold my portable welder. Guess who I call when I need to use a mig welder.

Hey John,you inspired the boxed in bay on this car. Yours turned out great!! I think the k member is made by D&D. We are in Indiana.
