I finally got the Mustang together enough to do a test drive took like a week
to install the supercharger and get the engine smoothed out.
I'm so glad I spend the extra 8 hours or so to figure out how to make the heater tubes fit and keep the A/C this thing is such a blast to drive.
The test run was only about 60-70 miles. But it was all good.
I hope to do a good shake down run next week might run to Ohio to
Summit Racing and back.. Still need to figure out what fans I can fit for
the cooling system.

actually pretty good, I only had it out once and everyone young to old seemed to like it. It gets a lot of looks and finger pointing while driving down the street. I hope to hit a Cruise inn on Saturday and see how it goes.
The whine of the blower turns heads. Every time I stop somewhere someone wants to know about the car. I'm enjoying it.

I remember when i was about 10 there was a guy in the neighborhood who had an 8-71 on a big block in a '69 Camaro, and you could hear that thing whine a mile down the road before you could hear the exhaust. It sounded like a jet engine coming up the street. If i were building a play/street/cruise/show car i would totally go this route. Just don't EVER lose a stop light race to an import or you're going to grow someone's head so big it might explode.

That is nuts. I remember some years back me and my buddies came upon a black Iroc with that type of set-up. Of course we had to screw with him (in my stock '85GT), and much to our joy and amazement he obliged. He nailed the gas for what couldn't have been more than a second or two and in a flash he was at least 30 yards up the road. To see that type of power on display on the street is simply amazing. Needless to say that made our night.
