proper rims for fox with 5 lug conversion

I have a 91 hatchback with a 5 lug conversion. I currently have some 01 bullet rims and they come damn close to rubbing in the back, in fact with the 275 40 17 tires it did. I'm going to buy some draglites for the car and wonder what I could get? I would guess a 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing, is that the norm? I see some with 5.5 backspacing. What do most people use and have success? Thanks

What are they rubbing? If it's the quad shocks, just flip them and you should be fine. I know a lot of people who run Bullit rims on a Fox...too many of them for my liking. But they fit fine, especially with 245/45/17s.

bullits look odd on fox stangs, but thats just me. the welds would be far more attractive

right, well anyhow. My question is.....I'm ordering welds, what size back spacing should I get. I hear 4.5 and 5.5? Which one for a nice 8 inch rim?

Which 5-lug conversion do you have on your car? Sn95? Which spindles? Or is it the typical 5-lug rotor/drum 5-lug swap???

have the standard drums on the rear and spindle and all up front from a 94 gt.
