Howdy all, windows are hard to roll up and down. Searched for this easy problem, but didn't really find anything on it.

What's the best way to lube (or not lube) window tracks? this is on a 65 convertible, but I assume should be the same for all.

I've used lithium grease, bearing grease, etc. Most seem to work, but they gum up something awful after a while.

What have you found to be the best, and longest lasting?

I like to use silicone spray, It goes on clear and it's water repellent...and because it leaves no residue so dirt/grime won't accumluate on lubes like lithium grease. I use it on all my cars' window tracks.
