Pros and cons of powder coating???

I'm wanting to get my intake and engine brackets powder coated. I would use high temp on the lower.

I can't see there being any cons to powdercoating stuff except maybe time and money. Is the stuff heavy?

I'm always blown away by how nice things look when they have been given the p c treatment.

too bad they couldn't be as shiny as like chrome plating though, but it should look a ton better anyways

To me, nothing looks as good as "bling" but on a daily driver, it's MURDER.

Take a look at Rio's setup, and you'll see how nice an engine bay can look with reflecting every bug that flies by.

Sometimes a smooth, uncluttered, clean, color-matched look is the the way to go..

Ok, cool. Thanks guys. I found a local guy who does pc on the side for a good price. He is charging me $25 do do my spyder intake and I think 30-40 for all the brackets.
