Mustang5L5 That is…until I whipped out my Bissell Mod Dude Feb 18, 2001 43,164 17,858 224 Massachusetts Apr 17, 2008 #4 Apr 17, 2008 #4 Codes 81 and 82 have to do with the air management system aka smog pump Codes 84 is the EGR vacuum solenoid failure Code 85 is canister purge solenoid failure. Did you eliminate all the smog pump and related smog vacuum plumbing on the pass side of the motor???

You'll need to source the lines and solenoids needed to make the EGR functional...or go get a tune to eliminate it completely from the EEC programming
