I decided to pull my codes today to see if anything is up. Here are my results:

Vacuum - 15-20 inches at cold idle

KOEO:

On Demand -

Code 85 - CANP (Canister Purge) solenoid circuit failure. - No idea?

Code 23 - Says TP Sensor out of range. - I haven't checked the TPS voltage though

Continuous Memory -

Code 33 - Insufficient EGR Flow detected - This is to be expected as my EGR is bypassed with the explorer intake.

Code 66 - MAF below minimum test voltage - Not sure? I recently cleaned the MAF sensor.

KEOR:

Code 94 - Thermactor pump - To be expected, smog delete

Code 44 - Thermactor pump - Same

Code 33 - EGR Flow - To be expected

What do you guys think about some of the wierd codes? Like 66, 85, and 23.

Well as far as code 85 - canister purge valve. I checked the engine harness diagram to try and find it and it's connector #12, near the coolant temp sensor. Well nothing is hooked to it, so I guess I don't have a canister purge valve. So what does that thing do anyway?

Is it a problem that I don't have one?

Canister purge is the valve that goes in the line from the charcoal cannister to the intake, not a running issue though.

The first one I would look at would be the TPS. That can cause a running problem. Also, the MAF below minimal voltage, be sure you have good ground and power to it first, and then maby replace the sensor.

I'm going to go check the TPS, I have to find some needles. I don't appear to have a charcoal canister either. What does that thing do?

Checked TPS - Voltage at 1.3. Couldn't get it to go below 1.1

Replace TPS sensor and set voltage to .994. This seemed to fix my idle issue, I thought I noticed the engine running smoother too.

Even getting the TPS down to 1.1 volts should have been enough for it to zero out and continue to ratchet-out.

Seems to me that an unconnected purge valve would lead to a vacuum leak.

Jrichker has some outstanding run-downs for the codes if you desire further understanding.

Good luck.
