Yes, gains are somewhat noticeable at mid to upper RPMs. Gas mileage has slightily improved. I'm most happy about the overall smoothness of the ride now that I've had it on for a few months. I've noticed 0 difference in A/C functionality. I'm bone stock when it comes to accessories, CD player, etc. so no problems there either.

The pulley is a good mod. Power gains are probably in the 5-10 HP region, and your mileage will go up 1/2 to 1 MPG.

One of the most noticable improvements after I added my pulley was that annoying power steering pump whine. It's gone now!

really, hmm, that sounds like a good idea,...i assume both you guys have the crank and alternator pulleys correct? also do have to get a smaller belt or something? or are the pulleys just lighter in weight not diameter???
ps. can somebody link me to a good buy/brand/kit?thanks

You only need to replace the crank pulley. It's smaller diameter, so your accessories are being under-driven (slower speed per engine RPM). You will need a shorter belt, since the existing belt is too long to keep the tensioner in its stock range of travel.

I bought this one.
To install it, you will need a harmonic balancer remover, as well as a Ford harmonic balancer installer. The pulley/balancer is a tight fit on the crankshaft, so you'll need to buy or rent these- don't be tempted to use a slide hammer or crowbar on the pulley!

VMP Tuning has the ASP UDP for the 94-98 (I'm assuming this is for your '94) with a belt for $90. Good company to buy from.
