Pulleys and Belts ?s

I'm considering getting a set of the basic power pulleys and was wondering if I have to buy a smaller serpentine belt as well or will the new pulleys use the factory belt size. What are some of your set-ups (pully brand) and belt sizes??

Most pulley kits will work with your stock belt. The extra diameter of the water pump pulley makes up nicely for the smaller diameter of the crank pulley.

What he said. I cannot speak for all brands, but I can tell you that the Steeda pulleys use the stock belt.

QFT...I believe (and I could be wrong) all of the pulley kits (including the Steeda set I've got) are designed to retain the stock belt. The only time you need a different one is when you add another pulley for, say, a blower

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm hoping to possibly pick up a set after Christmas. Is there a link to a good write up for doing this myself? I'm in the process of searching for one now, but any help is appreciated.
