Pulleys? Anyone with good or bad experiences?

Is it true that these do damage to the A/C? I was considering putting some on, but didn't want to have to replace the A/C as it wouldn't be worth the trouble. Anybody else ever heard that? I believe March Performance told me that a few years ago.

I can't see why they would damage the a/c. The a/c pulley doesn't change at all. it's still the same belt running on the same pulley. I bet someone had a bad a/c that went out right after they installed a set of pulleys and tried to blame the pulleys for messing up their a/c. Otherwise i've never heard of anyones a/c going out due to pulley.

I think that is :bs: ,it slows down the accessories, but I have never had a problem with my pullies.I have had them on 5 or 6 cars, and will continue putting them on whatever cars are in my future. :nice:

how hard is it to install the steeda's I just ordered some can I do it without air tools?

Air tools will make life a lot easier when removing the stock pullys. Especially on the alternator nut and crank bolt. I used air when I did mine and had no problems. The swivel sockets that I borrowed from my neighbor were a big + too. Thanks again Huck.
