7000-AOD-STP
AOD Street Terminator PLUS Transmission.......Now 1000hp Rated! $2995.00

Is a 1000hp rating enough. Lentech is the best and you get what you pay for.

With the AOD you will get the overdrive you wont get with the C4.

I had a lentech terminator in a completely stock yellow 93 lx convertible. (which I sold about 5years ago)I loved that thing.

But with just the tranny no other mods I managed to get 13.9 once in the 1/4.

Not sure if the price above includes a converter, But when I purchased mine I get it all as a packaged deal for around $3500.

Here is a link to there site.http://www.lentechautomatics.com/aodproducts.html

Thats not to bad? if i can only be out of pocket for about $1500 after i sell my set up i'd be cool with that? This person P.M me with this offer tell me what you think? He wants to trade stright across from the way it sounds? Going off what he has to offer how hard would a brake be to hook up/install on this trans? Would it be worth installing? My set up is this:New rebuilt TKO3550 with 300 miles, steeda tri-ax short shifter, steeda cable, steeda quadrant, steeda firewall adjuster, double hump cross member, pedal assembly, new ford racing billet steel fly wheel with aprox 1300 miles, new spec stage 2 clutch with aprox 1300 miles, fox body tremac bell housing none of this has been beat on or raced yet! Heres what he said he had to offer:

I have a built C4, B&m valve body, upgraded gears, Hardened planitary, race clutches, deep pan, trans cooler and lines, TCI tourgue converter with 3k stall and nitrous balooning plates and B&m pro ratchet shifter

I went from auto to 5speed and will never look back unless I build an insane insane strip only car, but for now I would not go back to an auto there is nothing like banging gears. That and I am A.D.D so I need something to do!

There are pros and cons to the manual vs. auto......i.e. Pro for auto would be you never miss a gear during important races, a Con for auto would yes, you do lose more horsepower through an auto another Con for auto would be during street duty (where I expect most of your driving will be) you can't down shift/have proper control of your trans...another Con for auto you have to worry about torque converters and there stall ratings and whether the conveter is lock or not.....now Pro for manual is you don't lose as much horsepower through it and a Con is yes if you can't/don't know how to properly drive a manual you can miss gears.....another Con for manual you have to worry about slipping clutch, but if you get the right clutch for the job this should not be a problem. You have also got to think about weight differance the auto weighs alot more than the manual...so that may take into effect. I really can't say what amount of power you lose through a auto cause it is different for every car...but I think the general rule of thumb is you lose alittle over 3% more than a manual. Now the trans I am using is Tremec TKO600 with/aftermarket lugs(easier to shift into gear).....with a Spec Stage3+ clutch....now trannies and clutches are NOT rated in RWHP they are rated in RWTQ.....I am making over 600rwtq and supposedly my tranny set-up gives out at 600, but for over a year and half the tremec has not let me down and the Spec clutch keeps on grabbin'. Any other questions feel free to ask!

if i was gonna swap to an auto, i'd go for a turbo 400, you can build them for half the cost of a ford tranny and they will pretty uch take whatever abuse you throw at them
