Pulling the engine

hey guys im sure this has been covered but i have been unable to find just what im looking for. im pulling the engine out of a 89 notch carb car. whats the best place to connect the chains. im trying to avoid pulling the heads off and i dont have that carb plate to pull from. whats the best spot to lift from outside of those. thanks for the help guys.

The front and back of each head... just thread it in there good enough not just a tad bit this is how i got mone out with aluminum heads at that

Yep, one bolt in the accessory mounting holes on the end of the heads, one front and one in the rear.

Or one in each of the four corners if you have an engine tilter.

Did the same thing, used a lifting strap,no engine tilter... Really easy..
