the other day i attempted to get my trans swap done and boy was i unaware of what i was gettin myself into. to make a long story short i had to remove the passenger side header to get the bellhousing to clear and she finally came out. my question to you guys is do you think it would be easier to just pull the motor out and put everything back together out of the car and drop the engine and trans back in together (with headers attached) as one unit, because for some reason im just not enthused about putting that header back on with the little room i have to work with?...i knew the extra ground clearance these headers provide as opposed to other brands would have its setbacks :damnit:

Easiest way to solve that problem is to get a tubular k-member. This will give you easy access to the header bolts when you are needing to get the tranny out. Not to mention you'll shed weight off the front end at the same time.
