Hey guys,

I was contemplating throwing a new fuel pump, probably a 190lph in my 97' GT along with 24lb injectors and probably a larger maf. So is it worth it or not? Will the maf and the injectors compliment each other? I am planning in the future to supercharge it, possibly turbo if i get the money...would this be a good start in preparing for that or should i just hold off? Thanks guys.

I would say just hold off for now and save for the actual supercharger. A big MAF and injectors are not gonna give you much more power (if any) over the stock ones...unless that is you have forced induction. If you are anxious to buy something, you could get the fuel pump and install that, but personally, I would hold off on the MAF and injectors.

I agree with holding off. The 190lph pump is going to max out at about 350-360rwhp, so if power levels beyond that are in the future, you're going to need to upgrade a second time. The 24lb/hr injectors are going to be no where near enough even for the most modest of supercharged systems and the Stock MAF does a pretty decent job on it's own.

Not to mention that nearly any kit you buy is going to come with these components (or have them as an option) at the time of purchase, where they can be properly sized and calibrated to your application then. :nice:
