Ok. I want to replace my rear lower control arms with STOCK lower control arms. Or alteast replace the rubber bushings.

I talked to ford 2 weeks ago and they were $53 each. I went there friday and now they are suddenly $195 each. WTF!??!

Anyway, is there another approach that i can do? I dont have a problem with aftermarket stuff, only i dont want polyurethane bushings.

Got any ideas?

thanks

Why do you not want urethane bushings? If you go with something like MM's lower control arms, then you will not be inducing much or any more bind than the stock setup.

Or is it ride quality that your concerned with?

My intention is different than most others. I am just trying to revive my 5.0. The ride quality of my LX has gotten quite poor. I have already purchased new front A arms and would like to purchase rear lower control arms.

I just want to restore the ride quality of my car. Not turn it into a road racer.

thanks

New rubber bushing in your upper control arms will help alot more than in your lowers. As far as ride quality goes. IMO

I went with MM lowers and I boxed my stock uppers and put a urethane bushing on the chassis and stock rubber on the axel. Big improvment.
