Push-rods????

I have a 84 351W that I'll be using in my coupe. I'll be running 70 heads with stock rockers, my question is; Will the 84 pushrods be the correct length or should I use 70's, or are they the same? Or do I need a custom length and different rockers? Any help will be greatly appreciated

70 heads used press in studs and rail rockers, 84 heads have pedestal mount rockers. I think you'd need the 70 pushrods since you'd be using the 70 style valvetrain, but you never know. Put in the ones you've got and check the length. Remember, neither of those valvetrain designs is adjustable, you torque down the rocker nut to spec and thats it, pushrod length is quite important even with hydraulic lifters.
