Pushrod Play

After we tore down the top end I took a look at push rods. They look good but Im sure I read somewhere that a properly adjusted rod should not be able to be turned by hand. Some I could, some I couldnt. My buddy said it was because some of the valves were open and some were closed, which made sence to me. Does this sound right? Also I have FMS 1.6 RR, are these adjustable or are they simply bolt on and tighten down?

I just got done rebuilding my top end to. what i know is that you are suppose to have both the intake valve and exhaust valve closed and then tighten the rockers till you cant rock the rockers anymore then turn it another half a turn. That is what the book said and my car is running like a champ im not shure if ur roller rockers are adjustible or not.
