Picked up some Edelbrock Performers and 1.7 Scorpion rockers. Stock cam is staying in for now.

Anyone know if I'll have to get different length pushrods...I understand the best method is to check but I don't have the tools readily avaiable to do that.
Never swapped heads before, aluminums need hardened pushrods, (I think I read tht somewhere)

Let me know, and thanks for any info

What it is that really dictates the need for hardened pr's is .........

If you use guide plates

Non hardened pr's will not take the scraping against the gp's and you will
end up with a bunch of metal shavings getting in the motor :(

Final is right. If you are running pedastal mount rockers, you don't necessarily need hardened pushrods, unless you are spinning a lot of rpm.
