Puting in sportlines myself...

Anyone out there put in lowering springs yourself? Is there anything I should need to look out for? Anyone run into any problems? How long do you think it'll take? Any advice? Thanks

Can't wait to get rid of that 4 X 4 look!!!

Did the full Steeda G-Trac 1, 2, 3 in my little garage... my only 2 suggestions, Impact tools and a Spring compressor. I did mine without the impact tools, and it took much longer than it should have.

Not bad at all, did it with hand tools, no spring compressor. Less that 2 hours. The only suggestion is to lay the frame on jack stands, support the lower control arm with a good floor jack and when all the nuts and bolts are out, SLOWLY lower the jack, once it's all the way down the pressure is off the spring, use a pry bar or tire iron to pull it out. The Rear is alot easier.

rear is cake.u don't really need spring compressor either. unbolt shocks, quad shocks, let alxe hang down. u'll have all the room u need. then front is bit more tricky, due to more components that'll have to be removed, but still straight. I'll get spring compressor for the front tho

Be sure the rear spring pigtails are facing the correct direction. (toward the drivers side of the car for both of them)
You got that right!! I didn't pay attention to that and had to do the rears all over again. It's not a hard job, but I had a lift and air tools. It took us about 45 min and we were done. If I had to do it in my garage it would have taken a lot longer.

Me and my friend did the entire suspension on both our stangs in about 4 hours in a parking lot at school with just handtools. We changed all struts and shocks too. U dont need a spring compressor.
