Putting 275\40\17 all around... will this be fine? Rubbing?

Anyone have this setup? I have 17x9 wheels (10th anniv) on my v6.. and the rims are getting stone chips all over the outer machined part where there should be rubber. (running 255x45x17 now).. so i am getting the sized tires that are supposed to be on these wheels. But I just want to make sure they won't rub at all or stick out past the top of the front fender.

no need to run a 275 in the front, not positive but you might rub in the front depending on suspension....255's should be fine, run a 275 out back.

It shouldn't rub. People have done it before.

255 leaves the outer rim of the 10th anniv wheels exposed... if you look from the side... wheel sticks out past the wall of the tire.

I have 275/40's all around on 17x9's. You will be fine. Only time it has ever rubbed was pulling out of a driveway at full wheel lock, as the fronts dipped onto the street from the driveway.
