Qa1 suspension ?

So ive recently installed all Qa1 parts in the front end of my 89 notch...

tube k-member
tube control arms
and the Qa1 coil overs with the adjustable strut
225 lb front springs...

however there were no instructions in the box for the lower control arms.
Im confused... i greased all the bushings on the lower control arms and set the bolts home with my air gun... Once the car was on the ground... and the struts set at there softest setting... The car has no suspension travel, Its dead stiff... Im curious are the lower control arm Bolts suppose to stay loose somewhat for free travel... Or is it designed to be this stiff... The lower control arm has a solid coupler with a rubber bushing around it... Any help greatly appreciated

You should tighten the bolts tight with the car sitting on it's suspension.
