Hi all. Man, this brings back memories. I used to post here under a different user name years ago when the boards were black!

Anyway, I'm looking to upgrade the front seats of my '93 LX 5.0 vert and was looking at Corbeaus, either the TSR or the GTS II, maybe the CR1. So, AFTER READING ALL THE PREVIOUS POSTS, here are my questions.

1. How do they wear? I read one post that said they faded after about six months from black to dark blue. This is important b/c I have a vert and I want black cloth. So, do they fade?

2. Corbeau sells a full bracket assembly ($80) and an adapter bracket ($20). I've heard the adapter would raise the seat about 1/2 - 1 inch. Personally, I'd like added hight as I don't have a tilt wheel and the wheel tends to block the lower guagues. So, is it really only about 1 inch or is it significanly more? BTW, I'm 5'9" so the roof isn't an issue.

3. Related to 2, how is the clearance between the steering wheel and the thigh areas?

4. Corbeau sells an inflatable bladder. Is this a good purchase or do the seats have good lumbar suport anyway?

Anyway, thanks in advance for the input.

For those who are interested, here are the specs on my 'stang:

1993 LX 5.0 Reef Blue w/black interior and top
5-speed
Cobra R brake package
'98 Cobra rims
255R17 Yokos
Aftermarket 2.5 in exhaust, from header to dynomax muffs
Subframe connectors, lower chasis brace, struttower brace
Steeda adjustable sway bar
Steeda TriAx shifter
Steeda caster camber plates
Performance chip
Ford Motorsport comp clutch
Cloth Top

Plus lots of other cool stuff.

I have a GTS II that is only a few months old but it is nice. I bought the full slider bracket for $80 and it puts the seat about the same as stock. I got a good friend giving me his seats out of his 2000 GT so I am going to sell it. PM me if you are interested in it. I only have the Drivers side. Never got a chance to buy the passenger side.
