When converting an earlier 5.0 from a 7.5" rear to an 8.8" rear, what do you do when the car has a slapper bar system and the 8.8" rear has quad shocks? Do you just transfer the slapper bars over to the 8.8"?
I've never heard of using the slapper with an 8.8....usually you just leave the slapper part with the 7.5 and bolt the quad shocks up with the 8.8. The quads are a better system.
I agree that the quads are a better system, but I am trying to maintain the original stock appearance and was wondering if the 8.8 will work with the 7.5's slapper bars.
