I have a question?

I am running american racing 5 lug rims on a 93 mustang gt with 315/35/17 they are 11.5 wide and i have no quad shocks.
Besides getting narrow rims is there a bracket they make to move the quad shock over to accommodate the widder rims.

try flipping the shock over to see if you gain enough clearance

I went outside last night and used a ruler from the bottom shock mount to the inside of rim and the rim is 1.5 inch wider than the shock mount may have to trade rims for some 10.5 those i have measure 12 wide.

What kind of control arms do you have?

Don't worry about quad shocks they are useless with non-stock arms

a 315 wide tire is asking a lot without at least a mini tub.

The outter and there not rolled they rub the outter rubber on tire. So u think aftermarket control arms upper and lower fix it

So you definitely need to roll the fender lips this will solve most of your problems if you're going to buy control arms don't buy cheap ones I suggest anything from Team Z or Maximum Motorsports

Neither... both cheap the BBK are basically stock.

What exactly do you use the car for if you do any kind of racing I would suggest a better arm if you're just looking for something to put in there to remove the quad shocks the LMR Sr racing ones will probably do just fine

I put the MM lowers and HHR lowering coils on my 96, removed the quad shock and it made a huge difference in traction and wheel hop and didn't squat as bad with the progressive rate spring, little stiffer ride but still rode nice. Definitely roll your fender to help clear.

$250 new. Sometimes you can find them used on ebay or the classifieds.

I used stock uppers and regular shocks.

So just get some real good lowers and that should keep me with wider tires and no quad shocks.
