I am in the process of converting my car from an AOD to T5 and my pedal assembly just arrived. It did not include the stock quadrant which didnt matter becuase i bought a bbk one. The problem is, at a quick glance it looks like the quadrant is to long! The two holes on the quadrant DO NOT line up with what i have on the clutch pedal shaft. WTF!!! I have not even started this project yet and something this stupid is really pissing me off!! Anyone installed this before??? Is there something i am not getting here??? thanks in advance

I think you answered your own question. If it doesnt fit, then it doesnt fit. I would call BBK and make sure you got the right part. Maybe you got one for a SN95 mustang or something. Measure the distance between the two shafts and see if they have one that fits you can exchange it for. I am assuming the pedal assembly you have came from a fox stang. You are bound to run into stupid things like this when you start changing stuff. Just be patient. :D

im pretty sure i got the 87-93 one, but everyone makes mistakes... this is going to get figured out and i will post some pics soon. i think i will have to do some fabrication. Also....no return spring is used with an aftermarket quadrant right? i thought that orginally, but when i checked out my buddie's setup i noticed a big spring under his aftermarket quadrant  thanks
