This is why 4eyed foxes are better... never have to worry about crappy rubber window mouldings, hazy/yellow cheap plastic headlights or cheese grater taillights.

I had to carefully cut along the edges so the tape didn't peal off the paint and primer.

Glad he didn't use them. even though the covers don't look all that bad, they still don't fit correct and stick out more where the drip rail moulding meets the quarter window and the other thing that kills it for me everyone can tell they are covers and they look like awful IMHO. For people who do get them don't waste your time with sticky tape it doesn't last most guys use a small bead of windshield adhesive to stick them on but keep in mind they are really going to be stuck on there and damage the probally window rubber if you want them off.

So you did repaint them. I was gonna tell you to do this. You said you didn't wanna spend the money.....it's actually VERY cheap. I've done them with one can of filler primer, some sand paper, and Duplicolor flat black. I also clear coated them with SEM Low-Luster clear so they would be sealed. All 3 pairs I've done have turned out great and have lasted. Prolly cost me under $25 dollars.

Now I am glad he did this, he is very detail oriented and I am sure the work is going to be top notch like always. He also installed the panhard bar, parking brake cables, fixed the door locks and is finishing repainting all the trim, mirrors too.

He installed the T/A and rear coil-overs on my 93
The Cobra brakes on the black 91 LX I had last summer

And a bunch more stuff I have forgotten over the years. I should get the car back this weekend, woot!

As expected the job is 100% top notch, he ran out of paint because a couple of parts "came out unacceptable" so he is redoing them. He will finish tomorrow or Tuesday.

What a nice difference, looks awesome to me.

Damn Grover those must have been some of the worse I have ever seen and turned out to be as nice as stock. Mine on my car aren't real bad thank goodness, but they could use it. Maybe I should get my ass off the net and onto the car, you think?

I have seen worse but these were damn close to the worst. I think the car lived outside prior to me buying it.

Now the newly redone trim on the 90 makes the 93's look bad! UGH. I really look forward to seeing the car in person and getting some better pictures with a camera instead of his phone. These small things will reall help make the car stand out.

Wonder if I can con him into doing the 93's

Just to show Pat's uber detail work, check out the trim and the quarter windows!

I also tossed on these clear corners, still up in the air about them.

And Jordan being "tough"
