with the above UD pulleys can i use the stock 90inch belt on my 88gt,auto with A/C..........thats it..........
i also hear that not to use the alt pulley. which if better is ok with me. but i just want to know if i would have to get a smaller belt. im assuming these pulleys are just a lighter weight. and not smaller in diamter but then again im asking to be educated...
ps. i know the add says you can utilize the stock, but i need expert opinion before i buy something for 100.00

They look about right to me. If you're having charging issues, just stick with your stock alt pulley and call it a day. Otherwise, it's nothing to really worry about. And if this is one of your first mods, get used to spending $100 here and $100 there on seemingly useless items. We don't own these cars because they're pocket book friendly. ;)

lol, this is my 3rd stang. just never had pulleys on any of them, just intake manifolds and exhaust....
this 88gt is just gonna cobra/explorer intake,thumper e7 heads,pulleys,TB,and gears,and catback........
but yah, i think the pulleys will be noticable, like at least 5whp...correct? i think im gonna get everything and put it in a box,and when i go to do the heads and intake, i will put the intake, heads, pulleys,tb,and gears all it once, and crank it up and see what happens,,,then i will have bolted on +/-100hp.lol.....

pulleys wont make the car feel faster....i put a set on and noticed the engine may have revved a little faster but i didnt feel any more pull when i got on it.

i used a cheap ebay set i got on ebay for 30 bucks. they worked well and i ended up using the stock alt pulley also. 90% of the underdriving is already done with the crank pulley and the WP pulley.

if i had to pay the full price for them like on summit or something i wouldnt have bought them they really wouldnt be worth it then.
